Denis Jasarević - Gramatik is an electronic artist, musician, and producer from Portorož, Slovenia. His styles and influences are mostly a blend of dubstep, electro, trip hop, hip hop, and glitch. He grew up influenced by American hip hop artists like RZA, Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, and European electronic music of the early 2000.
Phish bassist Mike Gordon and his band include longtime collaborator Scott Murawski (Scott can rip guitar to no end, and he belts out with the kind of voice that at once sounds like your best friend and like the deep backwoods soul and grit of a true American hobo hero, too cool to talk in normal small-talk), organ and synth-master Robert Walter (The Greyboy Allstars), sharp-shooter John Kimock on drums and percussion/n'goni/programmer Craig Myers. Mike jumps up and down a lot with this band. Maybe too much, but: a lot. There is a lot of smiling. And frowning, but more the latter.
